Peel P50 Custom

Most vehicles have been photoshopped at least once. But I bet you, that nobody ever attempted to photoshop a Peel P50. This cute little vehicle has no potential you say? Well… everything has potential – albeit some admittedly on a smaller scale (no pun intended). Let me present you, which is according to Top Gear The smallest car in the world. Lower anything (except a 4×4) and it instantly looks better than stock with the new stance. Add larger diameter wheels with less sidewall, a little bit of negative camber and top it all of with a set of vinyl stickers. Add a top chop for good measure and… Jeremy Clarkson will not fit anymore. Ask Richard Hammond instead. 🙂

I took that exact same picture! Possibly a bit earlier or later in the day, there was a sign resting on the front of the Peel and the bonnet of the 2CV is up. Also have pics of the owner loading the car onto a flatbed trailer with the Peel trailer loaded in the back of his Honda Fit. Was looking for pictures to determine what the difference is between lower right bodywork on these, I’ve seen this oval opening, a cutout behind the front wheel arch showing the engine and a cutout that has no bodywork behind the front wheel. I just got a new 1:18 scale model with trailer (oval vent) and noticed my original 1:18 model has the cutout behind the front wheel arch.

  • Hello Steve,

as I found this picture on the internet I have no idea who took the shot. Picture credit goes to the original photographer, as always.

    Best regards
    Sebastian
