Though being a fan of the later ED9 model, I always liked the early Honda CRX. It’s a sporty little runabout that makes you grin at every roundabout. The CRX has lots of potential and I went ahead and tried to make the best of it. The body itself is nearly perfect with clear lines and, compared to the vehicles we see today, no unnecessary bling. Just straight lines in the best late 80’s fashion.
The car has been lowered over a set of period correct Ronal Turbo 15″ wheels and has been painted in Gulf colors. I did however retain the two-tone theme of the original.

Why shouldn’t Hybrid cars be fun to drive? Why having a small and lame engine when you could have a nifty Type-R engine? Why are most Hybrid cars so ugly? The first generation Honda Insight had potential to succeed the famous ED9 CIVIC. Unfortunately the potential has never been used at all. The size and proportions of the car are actually perfect for a little runabout – with the engine and powertrain carried over from existing Honda models. Would I drive the Insight Type-R? Hell yeah!

Oh yes. Another one of those pocket rockets from the eighties. This Honda CIVIC Si has been dropped, larger wheels have been added and the windows tinted. The exhaust system has that stock OEM look, but is larger in diameter.

Another Honda from the 80’s. Only minor modifications to create this virtual model. I retained the stock look of the third generation CIVIC Hatchback and just lowered it over 15″ mesh wheels. The lights have been altered also for a cleaner look.

The third generation CIVIC still had the sleek and clean design typical of 80’s Hondas. This one was just lowered and a set of up-to-date larger diameter wheels have been installed.
