Chrysler Newport Sedan

The proportions of some American cars from the 1970’s are a bit cartoonish. The Chrysler Newport Sedan is a great example. Just for fun and to emphasize the oddness, I added a couple of axles and extended the hood and trunk accordingly. The passenger area remained stock standard. Note: this is likely to be the first vehicle here at VirtualModels that still has the stock ride height 😉

Chrysler Voyager Mk1 Custom

The inspiration to photoshop a Chrysler Voyager Mk1 came from reading Brock Yates‘ book The Critical Path. The old one-box design minivans have a lot of potential for customizing, in my opinion. I tried to keep it in an 80’s style, but the stance is definitely a more contemporary approach…

This beauty from the 40’s has been modified extensively – but I tried to maintain a stock look. A top chop along with opened windows, modifications to the front fascia and getting rid of the bumpers was fairly easy. I also found a nice set of chrome steelies.

A friend of mine built a scale model of a Chrysler 300C Coupé. This inspired me to create this virtual model when the SRT8 version was unveiled. The body has been cleaned, bigger wheels and exhaust tips have been added. Even though it might look like – but the roof is not chopped.

Converting this Startech 300C was quite a lot of fun. Initially, I planned to enter it into a contest many years ago. I wanted to create something different, apart from the usual lowering, Lambo-style doors and wheel changes. The bold look of the vehicle inspired me to convert the 300C into a (mini)truck.
